Ezic introduces Scriptable Reporting Interface and announces upgrades to Fraud Barricade and EZICheck
April 2007 (Chicago, Illinois) - Ezic, Inc., the leader in high performance Internet payment processing, has announced several enhancements and upgrades to its Internet payment processing system. Ezic has introduced its new Scriptable Reporting Interface 1.1, added several IP based fraud-scrubbing tools to Fraud Barricade, and improved EZICheck's reporting and check notification features.
The new Scriptable Reporting Interface 1.1, one of the three direct interfaces for Ezic's payment platform, is a beneficial feature for high performance merchants. It allows merchants to remotely access their transaction and membership data from the Ezic system. The Scriptable Reporting Interface 1.1 also gives merchants with third party affiliates the ability to grant authorized affiliates direct access to selected report data.
The significant enhancements to Fraud Barricade include Global Location Verification, Declined Order Limits, and Approved Order Limits by IP. Global Location Verification allows merchants to automatically verify that the country of the customer's card-issuing bank, IP address, and billing address match. In addition, Fraud Barricade includes Declined Order Limits, which blocks customers from trying to run transactions with different cards from the same IP address. Another control, Approved Order Limits by IP, has been added which allows merchants to block repeated transactions using different card numbers from the same IP address. These market driven features will give merchants added protection against fraudulent activity.
Ezic has made several enhancements to EZICheck including a Monthly Statement that provides merchants with a summary of all check transactions, reserve activity, and reserve balances. EZICheck also includes a one-step process that allows merchants to easily see exactly which submissions have been included in each daily payout. In addition, merchants now have the ability to send customer notifications as well as automatically be contacted via email if a check refusal occurs.
