April 2008 (Chicago, Illinois) - Ezic, Inc., a leading provider of digital payment solutions announces new enhancements to its payment-processing Gateway. Ezic introduces additional EZICheck™ fraud prevention features, upgrades to the Gateway's processing options, additional Chargeback Lookout™ capabilities, and improved reporting performance.

Ezic has updated its fraud-scrubbing tool, Fraud Barricade™ for checks, with the release of the EZICheck Visual Authorization Capture. This feature will help Merchants decrease their number of fraudulent check transactions and significantly reduce their "not-authorized" chargeback percentages, in accordance with NACHA's new Network Enforcement Rule.

"The Visual Authorization Capture is an exciting new component in our abuse prevention stack for EZICheck transactions," says Fredrik Sjoholm, Ezic's founder and Chief Technical Officer. "Visual Authorization Capture ensures that every purchase is explicitly authorized by the account holder. We store a pixel-perfect visual record of the authorization for future reference, exactly as seen and agreed to by the account holder at the time of purchase."

Several enhancements have been made to the Gateway's processing options as well, including the addition of Load Ratios and Cascading Processors. These features will be beneficial for high-risk Merchants.

Ezic has also expanded its chargeback tracking and reporting tool, Chargeback Lookout, to allow Merchants and Agents to access advanced chargeback data and reports in real-time. In addition to the interactive reporting system, Merchants are now able to retrieve chargeback data through Ezic's customizable automated reporting tool, Scriptable Reporting Interface.
